REPRESENTATIONS TO BOARD:

                1.  The applicant requested a special permit to allow the construction of a             14’ x 26’ addition to her existing non-conforming house, remove an old          entry, and rebuild and expand a side entry.

                2.  The existing house is located on a 12,000 square foot lot in a                      Residence A District and an Aquifer Protection Zone IIIB.

                3.  The existing house was built in 1925 and is set back 23 feet from           Lapham Street.  Arnold noted that other homes in the area are a similar                 distance or even closer to the street.

                4.  The Board determined that the proposed changes would be no more             detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing use.

                5.  The Planning Board offered no comment on the proposal.

                6.  Permission was granted for the applicant to withdraw her request for a              variance.

FINDINGS;

        1.  With regard to the Special Permit the Board took into consideration each of the following:

                a)  Social, economic, or community needs which are served by the                        proposal;

                b)  Traffic flow and safety;
